We're launching this site with 2 goals:
1. Provide trusted product recommendations for blog readers (and other Web surfers).
2. Provide a reader-friendly revenue source for bloggers (and other content creators and publishers).
Amazon.com and other shopping sites provide reviews, but it's hard to know which to believe. Here, each blog has its own shop, with product suggestions from people whose views you're familiar with (or can learn about from their blog). ShopThisBlog organizes the information in new ways that we hope you'll find useful. You can support your favorite blogs at no cost: just start from their shop next time you make a purchase from Amazon.com. Roughly 75% of the Amazon Associates revenue goes directly to the blogger (we don't even see it). The remainder is used to fund our business. ShopThisBlog offers bloggers a new way to share which products they like and dislike, and why. They can link to their shop or to individual items, and may include an interactive "sidebar shop" that presents a few items at a time. The sidebar format is customizable, typically showing more information than generic Amazon.com ads. As a reader, you can further customize the contents and format.
